“Zambia is situated in south central Africa and is a landlocked country. It has neighboring counties. Zambia is a former British colony and was once ruled by the British until October 24th 1964 when Zambia got her independence. Zambia celebrated her 45th independence anniversary on the 24th of October last year and will be celebrating her 46th anniversary on 24th October 2010. The main activity is mining of copper and Zambia mainly depends on mines but agriculture is also supporting the economy. To improve the economy of Zambia further, all Zambians should work hard and we should also remember and respect the old men who helped our country to gain independence.I made this map because I’m proud to be Zambian because it has so many activities such as tourism, culture, mining and extra. The government should improve the roads, schools, hospitals and water supplies.” – Situtu Muchala
