Workshop preparing Munkoyo
Munkoyo (also called Ibwatu) is a popular drink in the countryside of Zambia. It is a slightly fermented drink made from ground roots, which are mixed with small pieces of corn. You must let the mixture stand for a few days as it can ferment. Then you can drink it. Zambians often call it “sweet beer”.
We will teach you to make Munkoyo yourself, in a workshop we will organize at your request in our community center in Chilonga.
